My story

I’m Luiz Silva, a photographer and advertising professional originally from São Paulo, Brazil. My work brings together more than two decades of experience and a particular interest in spaces: their architecture, their atmosphere and the way light moves through them.
Today, I’m based in Palm Harbor, Florida, where I lead AVS Photo & Video. I work with real estate professionals, property owners, architects and designers to create images that explain a property clearly while giving its distinctive qualities room to stand out.
Family is an important source of inspiration in my life. So is the connection between creativity and technology. Both shape the curiosity I bring to photography and the care I put into each project.
My approach
Looking beyond
the room.
A property is more than a collection of rooms. The photographs should help someone understand how those spaces connect, what gives them character and how they relate to the setting outside.
Light
Natural light, interior lighting and the view beyond a window all contribute to a room’s atmosphere. I approach the image with those relationships in mind.
Design
Lines, proportions and perspective help explain the architecture. Thoughtful composition gives the viewer a clear sense of the room and its place within the property.
Detail
Materials, finishes and small design decisions deserve attention. Detail photographs can support the wider views and show what makes the space distinctive.

My background in advertising keeps the audience in mind. A photograph needs to look refined, but it also needs to communicate: the layout of a home, the character of an interior or the experience of a property.
Through AVS, photography can work alongside aerial imagery, cinematic video, floor plans and interactive tours. Each format adds a different perspective to the presentation, selected around the property and your plans for it.
