AI Property Reels and B-Roll: A Thoughtful Approach to Listing Content
An AI property reel is a short assembled presentation, while AI B-roll supplies supporting clips for a larger edit. Choose based on the deliverable you need, and review generated movement against the source images so the result does not invent property features.

Decide whether you need a finished story or inserts
A reel needs an opening, connected sequence and ending. B-roll may only need to support a particular sentence or transition within an existing video. Tell AVS which job is required and provide the destination, orientation and intended message. Similar production methods do not make the two deliverables interchangeable.
Choose source images with clear property information
Use sharp, well-exposed images that you have permission to use. Prioritize recognizable rooms and features rather than relying on a low-quality screenshot. Supply the original files where possible. An AI process should not be expected to recover accurate architectural detail that the source never captured clearly.
Review generated changes before use
Compare windows, doors, furniture, finishes and outside views with the source. Watch the entire movement, not just the opening frame. If a clip changes a material property feature, replace or revise it rather than describing it as harmless animation. Clearly identify conceptual imagery and check the destination's current disclosure requirements.
Example: an introduction versus a supporting detail
An illustrative reel might combine approved kitchen, living and terrace images into a concise property introduction. A separate B-roll request might only need a brief kitchen detail beneath an agent voiceover. The second task does not require a complete standalone story, but it still needs accurate source handling and review.
Choose the AI deliverable
- Define a complete reel or a supporting clip.
- Provide suitable original images and usage permission.
- Specify destination, orientation and message.
- Review motion for altered features and apply appropriate identification.
Frequently asked questions
Is an AI reel the same as filmed property footage?
No. It uses generated or transformed imagery rather than documenting every movement with an on-site camera. Describe the asset accurately and avoid implying capture that did not occur.
Can AI media replace all real property images?
It should not replace accurate documentation of the listing. Keep clear photographs and verified information available, especially when generated or conceptual material is used.
