Choosing Source Images for an AI Property Reel
Good source images for an AI property reel are sharp, well-exposed and clear about the home's actual geometry. Select originals that support the intended sequence, and exclude files whose blur, distortion or missing context would make accurate generation difficult to assess.

Evaluate technical clarity before visual drama
Inspect the file at normal viewing size and closer. Check window frames, furniture edges and architectural lines. Avoid heavily compressed screenshots and images with motion blur. A dramatic scene is a weak source if its details cannot be distinguished well enough to judge whether the generated movement preserves them.
Choose complementary views
Select images with different jobs: introduce a room, explain a connection or show a meaningful detail. Several nearly identical angles can produce a repetitive reel. Include enough context to identify the property, and tell AVS which features must remain unchanged. Do not ask the generation to reveal an unseen room as if it were documented.
Confirm rights and current condition
Use images you are authorized to adapt for the planned purpose. Verify that they show the property's current relevant condition and identify staged or conceptual elements. Mixing older and newer images can create contradictions before generation begins. Keep source filenames or references so each resulting clip can be checked against the correct original.
Example: choose between two kitchen images
An illustrative wide kitchen original with clear cabinet edges may be more suitable than a compressed social screenshot with a dramatic filter. The original gives a better basis for checking layout and materials. A closer image can support a detail clip if it adds information rather than duplicating the same view.
Source-image selection
- Use clear original files with visible architectural detail.
- Choose complementary views for a coherent sequence.
- Confirm adaptation rights and current property condition.
- Identify staged elements and features that must remain unchanged.
Frequently asked questions
Can a small image be enlarged into reliable detail?
Enlargement cannot establish accurate information missing from the source. Use a better original or another image when important property details are unclear.
Should every delivered photograph become a clip?
No. Select the images that support the reel's purpose and can be reviewed reliably. A smaller coherent set is preferable to repetitive or unsuitable sources.
