A Property Reel Launch Checklist for Agents
Before launching a property reel, verify the final file, property information, cover and next step. Reviewing the exported video and its actual posting setup prevents a polished edit from being undermined by a wrong link, cropped title or outdated detail.

Approve the content and version
Check the address, room descriptions, visible branding and any spoken claims. Confirm that the file is the intended orientation and final revision. If there are several branded or alternate versions, label them clearly and keep approved masters in one location so the person uploading does not select an earlier draft.
Review playback and presentation
Watch with sound and muted on a phone. Check text readability, captions, audio and the opening and ending. Inspect the cover at small size. Avoid using a repeatedly compressed messaging copy when the original export is available; the upload source should preserve the quality approved during review.
Verify the accompanying post
Check the description, property status and intended link or contact method. Confirm that the next step actually leads where promised. Use accurate language about the property rather than adding unsupported claims after the video has been approved. Review the published result because the destination may alter crop or presentation.
Example: catch a mismatched destination
An illustrative reel can be visually correct while its caption links to an older listing. Testing the destination before posting catches a problem that video review alone would miss. The complete launch includes both the media and the path viewers follow afterward.

Frequently asked questions
Should I keep the original export after posting?
Yes. Preserve the approved master and relevant source information so future crops or updates do not depend on a compressed download from a social platform.
Does publishing the reel finish the review?
Check the actual published appearance and destination link. Upload processing and interface crops can introduce issues that were not visible in the source file.
