Adding an Agent Appearance to a Property Reel
An agent appearance should add a useful introduction, explanation or next step to a property reel. Decide that role first, then keep the message concise enough to leave room for the home itself within the agreed duration.

Choose the agent's contribution
The agent might introduce the property, explain one verified feature or close with a clear invitation. Avoid repeating information already shown in several text cards. Write a short outline with exact wording for names, addresses and important facts. A focused contribution is easier to deliver and edit than an improvised full listing description.
Plan the setting and sound
Discuss a location that supports the property story while allowing suitable framing and audio. Wind, traffic or household activity may affect the recording. Tell AVS about these conditions in advance. Keep occupants and pets coordinated so background movement does not distract from the short spoken segment.
Confirm branding and final approval
Supply current name, title, logo and contact details. Check whether the intended destination allows the planned branding. Review subtitles or text independently of the spoken take, since a correct recording can still have a misspelled caption. Assign one person to approve the final wording and export.
Example: explain the terrace connection
An illustrative agent introduction could invite viewers to see how the living room opens to the covered terrace. The reel should then show that connection. This links the appearance to useful footage rather than placing a generic greeting in front of an unrelated sequence.
Agent reel preparation
- Choose one clear speaking role.
- Approve concise and factual wording.
- Plan location, audio and background activity.
- Verify branding, captions and the final call to action.
Frequently asked questions
Does the agent need to be on screen throughout?
No. A short opening or closing can be enough. Choose the amount of screen time that adds information without displacing the property story.
Can a voiceover be used instead?
Discuss that option and its scope with AVS. A voiceover still needs approved wording, suitable recording quality and footage that supports the message.
